If you are enrolling your student on their grade-level registration day, please proceed with registration for your older student at the same time. We encourage sibling registration, to make your Summer Camp choice easy!
Hello and welcome to Christ Church School Summer Camp 2024! We're thrilled to provide a fantastic summer experience for your children in a safe and nurturing environment. Our camp is packed with a variety of activities to ensure a fun and enriching time for all participants.
Camp Highlights:
Themed Activities: Each week will bring exciting, themed activities that cater to the interests of our campers. From outdoor adventures to creative arts and Bible activities, there's something for everyone.
Supervised Environment: Our dedicated school and camp staff will supervise all programming on campus. Teachers will lead each cabin, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for your children.
Age-Appropriate Groups: Campers will be grouped by age/grade level during theme camps. This ensures that activities are tailored to their developmental stage, providing an optimal experience for each child.
Fun Play Areas: Younger campers will engage in fun dramatic play areas (indoors and outdoors) and bounce house time, fostering creativity and physical activity. Older campers can look forward to their favorite activities like gaga ball, a water slide and cabin game time.
Mission Opportunities: We'll incorporate local mission opportunities, teaching campers the value of giving back to their community and fostering a sense of social responsibility.
STEM and Arts: Our camp also includes engaging activities in science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEM/STEAM), promoting a well-rounded engaging experience.
Logistics:
Registration: You can register for one week or multiple weeks based on your needs and preferences.
Meals: Please note that lunch and snacks are not provided during the camp. On Fridays, we'll treat campers to pizza.

Art Camp
Offered to age 4 by September 1, 2024, and fully potty trained through rising fifth grade. During these weeks, campers will experience two unique weeks of camp with extended sessions on paint, sculpture, drawing, and more. Art Camp will be led by Pastor Monique McBride, Pastor to School and Families, and art teacher at Christ Church School.
Sports Camp
Offered to age 4 by September 1, 2024, and fully potty trained through rising fifth grade. During these weeks, all ages will enjoy extended times for games and sports led by Coach Carl Sallade, Christ Church School Athletic Director and Coach.
Spanish Camp (NEW)
Offered to age 4 by September 1, 2024. These weeks of camp provide students with an opportunity to develop basic Spanish vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, conversation, and language mechanics. Activities using visual, auditory, and tactile experiences are incorporated. Technology is utilized through the SMART Board and 1:1 iPad apps. Students learn to appreciate the qualities of the language and to value cultural differences. Christ Church School’s full-time native Spanish-speaking teacher, Senora Oaks, utilizes creativity, joy and hands on activities to enhance second language acquisition. Project Based Learning (PBL) and a variety of teaching techniques are utilized. Opportunities for creative expression provide a supplement to the basic program as well as enrichment for students. Activities are planned that address the needs of the total child.
Innovation and Technology Camp (NEW)
Offered to age 4 by September 1, 2024. Campers will travel to the Innovation Lab, a large flexible space, equipped with a variety of current technologies such as 3-D printers, robots, device carts, broadcasting, Livestream, etc. In this modern space they will be led by Ms. LaCasse, Christ Church School’s Technology Integration Teacher. Campers will use the space to think, make and improve. During this week the will work on concepts such as digital citizenship, computer coding, and digital presentations. It is our belief that giving students exposure to design thinking and current tools allow them to develop potential for future endeavors. Campers may use visual coding robots, 3-D print, LEGO Mindstorms Robotics challenges and more.
PK2 Camp
Offered to CCS students only who are age 3 by September 1, 2024. Offered to age 3 by September 1, 2024. During these weeks, campers will participate in themed activities, outdoor and indoor play, arts & crafts, free play, and a quiet rest time. Students will have the opportunity to get messy, have fun, sing songs and play games. The summer camp program allows campers to explore, learn and discover the world through play, art, music and movement with a new theme each week.
