Show your school spirit and give a shout-out to someone special for a birthday, special recognition, or just because!

CCS Families have the opportunity to "Rent the Rock," our new capstone rock in the carline drive-thru. Sign up for a week during the school year in the form below. When it's your turn, you can come and paint the rock with any design, colors, and message you choose.

Spirit Rock Procedures:

  • You can reserve the Spirit Rock for 7 consecutive days.
  • The rock is yours to paint starting anytime on the Saturday or Sunday prior to the week you reserved.
  • You may come to school and park in the faculty lot, near the rock, on that weekend to paint the rock.
  • Your artwork/message will be left up for 7 days, until the next family paints over it on the following weekend.
  • If you plan to use your child(ren)'s name(s) on the rock, please use first names only.
  • The message/image you submit will be approved by CCS Administration. If your message changes at anytime prior to your week, please email Brooke Walsh at [email protected] with the updated message.

Spirit Rock Painting and Design Tips:

  • We suggest spray painting for the background of your rock. The spray paint will fill in the natural texture of the rock more easily than a using a brush.
  • For more detailed areas, feel free to use a tube of paint and a paintbrush or sponge. Regular artists' acrylic paint tubes work well & sponges work well for lettering.
  • Make sure to bring paper towels to wipe any drips, and a cup of water if you are using a paintbrush.
  • Parents are responsible for providing their own paint, brushes, or other materials.
