The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) membership is open to all parents of Christ Church School students. The families, faculty, and staff are members of the PTO.
The purpose of the PTO is to facilitate the school’s function as an outreach ministry of Christ Church. The PTO promotes the ideals of the school and strengthens home-school relations. Fundraising is planned, initiated, and implemented for the benefit of the school. Funds that are raised are allocated to:
- Hands-on learning tools
- Facility enhancements
Parents are encouraged to interact with school staff, administration, and other school parents. Parent volunteers assist the staff and administration with projects to enhance the total school experience.
The PTO strives to enhance the school’s educational, familial, and social programs by forwarding the educational environment and experience of the students. The PTO Board, parents, and school community work together to support an educational program for the whole child while at the same time recognizing students’ different learning styles. The PTO honors academic excellence by nurturing the spiritual, physical, cultural, and social development of the students. The Christian community offers a witness of love, service, and generosity.
