At Christ Church School, we are proud of the relationships we create with our current and prospective families. We recognize parental involvement as an essential element to student success. American author and family therapist, Virginia Satir said, “Feelings of worth can flourish only in an atmosphere where individual differences are appreciated, mistakes are tolerated and communication is open — the kind of atmosphere that is found in a nurturing family.” Together, we allow our students to prosper when they witness our positive interaction and involvement. As we walk together and nurture our students, there is a connection and sense of fellowship. Christ Church School faculty, staff and administration partner with parents to forward our mission, which includes a strong commitment to the academic program of study, as well as a focus on the growth of Christian character in each child.
In addition to the success of our students, parents play an integral part in the success of our school as a whole. We believe it is important that we involve our parents as much as possible and utilize their passion, talents and dedication. All families have the opportunity to volunteer and participate in the life of the school. The Parent Teacher Organization offers a variety of events throughout the school year. These events foster a sense of community and have been successful in fundraising efforts. The PTO strives to enhance the school’s learning opportunities by supporting classroom and facility needs. We work together to form partnerships that are fueled by time, energy and care. We owe a tremendous ‘Thank You’ to all of our parents for helping Christ Church School become what it is today.
