PK2 through fifth grade students attend weekly scheduled classes instructed by the Spanish teacher.

This program provides students with an opportunity to develop basic Spanish vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, conversation, and language mechanics. Activities using visual, auditory, and tactile experiences are incorporated into the classroom instruction. Technology is utilized through the classroom SMART Boards and 1:1 iPad apps. Students learn to appreciate the qualities of the language and to value cultural differences.

Our full-time native Spanish-speaking teacher utilizes curriculum that supports the school’s philosophy, including the Christian education component.

A variety of teaching techniques are utilized to meet the needs of students who have different learning styles. Opportunities for creative expression provide a supplement to the basic program as well as enrichment for students. Activities are planned that address the need of the total child.
