CCS Basketball

The 2018/2019 CCS Basketball team capped off a successful season by earning the #3 seed in league play. The Cheetahs finished the season with a 7-3 record, 5-2 in conference play. Unfortunately, the Cheetahs fell to runner-up Abundant Life Christian in their ESL Conference playoff game. Leading the way for the Cheetahs was their Captain Tommy Khouri, along with Reegan Mishkin, Cole Sinclair, Dakota Beach, and Andrew Macdonald. This year’s team was coached by Carl Sallade and John Omslaer.

The CCS Basketball team began its first season during the 2015/2016 school year. The season begins in early November and ends in the middle of January. Games are scheduled for once or twice a week against other small Christian schools in our community. The season consists of approximately ten games, which are held right after school in either the CCS Gym or at the opposing school. Parents are responsible for transporting their child to and from games. CCS does not provide transportation. Tryouts are open to boys and girls in Fourth and Fifth grade.

If your child is interested in joining the CCS Basketball team, more detailed information will be sent out to the parents as the season nears. Feel free to contact Coach Carl Sallade with any questions at csallade@ccsfl.org.
