Outreach Programs

The students at CCS are encouraged to participate in various community outreach programs throughout the school year. In conjunction with Christ Church, the CCS Parent Teacher Organization, and the Student Council, there are many opportunities to be of service to those in need.

 

Thanksgiving Outreach
Food baskets for needy families

 

Christmas Outreach 
CCS students bring new, wrapped toys and games for Broward County children in Foster Care
 

Easter Outreach
Various local organizations are chosen to receive baskets, clothes, books or homeless feeding funds

 

“SERVE.EVERYBODY. Weekend” 
A weekend community outreach performing service to animal shelters, nursing homes, day care centers and homeless food preparation

 

“Pennies for Peace”
penny collections sent to an international organization providing school supplies in Central Asia

 

“Souper Bowl of Caring” Jeans and Jerseys Day 
Donations of dollars and food are made through a youth led national initiative coinciding with the NFL Super Bowl
 

Muscular Dystrophy Association – “Shamrocks Against Dystrophy”
Purchasing green and gold shamrocks near St. Patrick’s Day to send a local child to a MDA summer camp
